Be Where Your Customer Are Online
Your customers are online, so be sure you are online too! If you have not used your Facebook or Twitter timeline in a while, now’s the time to start updating it with posts, photos of parts and links to your parts website. Don’t know what to post? It’s also ok to spy on the competition to see what they are posting and to get ideas.
Don’t forget that Google now allows you to post to your Google My Business profile.
Create an e-mail list of past customers and send them a thank you message for Thanksgiving. Not only will this show your appreciation, but it will also say remind them of your services and what you have to offer. Tell them you would appreciate any referrals or online reviews for your business. Be sure to send them a link to your Google Business listing so leaving a review is easy!
Create a Sense of Urgency Early!
Remind your customers that now is the time for them to book service appointment and order parts online from your website or through your parts phone number. If you sell appliances, remind them that they need to shop early in order to have their new appliances delivered and installed before the holidays!
Use Paid Advertisement
Consider setting aside some money for Google Pay Per Click and Facebook Ad Campaigns to reach potential customers in your market and to also target by keyword and interests.
Offer an Appliance Maintenance Program
Consider creating an appliance maintenance package for homeowners of landlords. For a yearly fee, this package can include the cleaning and checking over of all major appliances in the building and maybe a small percentage off a future service call or parts.
Cleaning the dryer venting, filters and checking hoses for leaks, could all be part of the package.
